Tropical Gardening Tips:
Whether you want to grow tropical like plants or live in a tropical climate, There are a couple of things you can keep in mind to ensure that your tropical plants grow healthy.
- You should always make sure that your plants grow in a healthy situation where the soil is well drained and full of mist and organic matter. It’s really easy to understand that healthy soil always create healthy plants
- Do not use a lot of fertilizer on your plants. Especially when it is “Nitrogen”. Too much “Nitrogen” is not good at all for the plants and flowers. Instead of nitrogen, it is better to use “phosphorus”. Another best way is to use manure tea for fertilizing the plants.
- A very useful trick is, using containers whenever it’s possible. This allows us to move to plants whenever we want. Especially, if the weather is not too friendly to the plants and is threatening their existence.
- Eventually, if it happens to be that you live outside a tropical like zone, no problem. You can still enjoy these tropical plants. But you need to keep in mind that, during the winter, you need to keep them inside the house. In a few cases, you will have to grow them inside the house year round with keeping this in mind that they will need a good amount of humidity. So, for this reason, we will have to use water-filled trays of pebbles or a humidifier.
